IE6: Is Your Browser Holding You Back?
On April 27, 2001 Microsoft released Internet Explorer 6.0 and in it’s prime was a great achievement in web browsing, and I’m saying this as an avid Apple enthusiast. Back then the latest & greatest in internet browsing was Netscape Navigator (remember that gem?) but a lot has changed. Since then the speed of computers has almost tripled, the amount of data downloaded from a single website has increased tremendously, and most importantly web languages and standards have all but been rewritten. So why stick to a web browser that was built on technologies that were around over 10 years ago?!
